FAQs

What types of data do you work with?
All sorts of data from academic libraries, journals, publishers, and databases including usage statistics, publication metadata, and citation patterns.
Do you offer custom analysis?
Absolutely! Each project is tailored to meet the specific needs of the client. I've helped libraries and consortia around the world with their questions.
Who have you worked with?
Past clients include OpenAlex, Invest in Open Infrastructure, and Clarke & Esposito.
What do you charge?
The starting rate is $400/hr. We can also talk about negotiated pricing for a defined project if that works better for your situation.
Will you run our Unsub data for us?
Unsub work is $3,000 for one publisher package, or $5,000 for two. This includes an analysis of all journals in the bundle, suggestions for targeted cancellations, and a deeper look via Unsub Extender.
